Description
So imagine you and your buddies just made camp after a 20-mile hike and your energy stores are low. Your buddy Steve offers you an MRE he bought from a garage sale 5 years ago. Eww… that’s when you pull out your trusty pouch of Mountain House Beef Stroganoff and instantly all your buddies are jealous. Especially Steve. Because while Steve is eating his old survival ration, you’ll be dining on real, honest-to-goodness beef stroganoff. Made with tender, all natural beef, savory mushrooms and onions with noodles in a rich sour cream sauce. Trust us, this is way better than whatever Steve is eating.
If I’m only going to be out 1 night this is the meal I take. On multiple nights this is the only meal I double up on. The flavor is excellent and cleanup is easy.
Hiker’s, campers, outdoor enthusiasts and Preppers have made Mountain House freeze-dried food their first choice for over 35 years. Because their unique processes, recipes and attention to detail is why they taste better than any other brand on the market. The other freeze dried food brands consist of only a few freeze-dried ingredients, mixed with dried seasonings and ingredients, which are then blended, not cooked. One well known brand doesn’t even contain any meat products at all, it’s 100% vegetarian printed on their label in small print. They use fake meat, TVP, Textured Vegetable Protean. Mountain House meals are cooked to give you the delicious homemade flavor you deserve and have real meat and vegetables. All you need to add is boiling water, and in just a few minutes, they are ready to eat!
Mountain House is widely regarded as the gold-standard brand of emergency survival and camping food, has announced they are guaranteeing the taste of food they sell in flexible pouches for a 12+ years and 25+ years in cans. This guarantee clarifies and distinguishes the quality claims of Mountain House from its competitors and stands in stark contrast to vague assertions of shelf life “up-to” a period of time, coupled with the very low standard of “will sustain life.”
